How can you help?
Volunteering is the cornerstone of our organization, whenever we have projects running we need volunteers.
You could help us in the field, for example, support in case of local environmental emergencies such as hurricanes, floods and others, or health emergencies such as the COVID 19 pandemic.
You could also help out as a volunteer teacher, giving training courses or workshops in person or online.
You can help us from home volunteering your time and offering your skills, such as helping us design and edit our digital media, promoting our campaigns on social networks or with any other specific skills that you have and think can serve our community.
Our mission
Promote social development and improve the opportunities of people in vulnerable situations in Playa del Carmen, in addition to promoting education and training for work and spreading the culture of preventive health and rehabilitation.

Field volunteers
Designed to meet the needs of the population directly in their environment. The field volunteer experiences the magic of a big smile of gratitude from the beneficiaries, in addition to being a representative of Playa Cares A.C. in the community.
Volunteer Educator
This program is essential to achieve the primary objectives for which Playa Cares A.C. was created. Through training and education, we will achieve long-term and sustainable programs alongside the use of new information and technologies, many of which are low-cost or even free.
Home-based Volunteer
We can all help in some way, our home based volunteers are for those who want to to help in one way or another from a distance, whether near or far. We have great support in social networks but we can always use additional support. Also, new ideas are always important.
